Terms of Service
Last updated: July 20, 2026
Welcome to austinwombservice.com, operated by Austin Womb Service (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. These terms govern use of the website and general inquiries; individual clinical or doula engagements may also be subject to separate written agreements.
About our services
Austin Womb Service provides information about midwifery, birth doula support, placenta-related offerings, childbirth education, perinatal photography, and related wellness services for families in and around Austin, Texas. The website describes services and how to contact us. Visiting the site or submitting an inquiry does not, by itself, create a midwife–client or doula–client relationship.
Scope of the website
Content on this site is for general information and education. It is not a substitute for personalized medical advice, diagnosis, or emergency care. Always consult qualified health professionals for decisions about pregnancy, birth, and postpartum health. If you have an emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency facility.
Inquiries, booking, and communications
You may contact us by phone, email, or forms on this site. You agree to provide accurate contact information and not to misuse forms (including spam or harassment). Because this site is hosted as a static website, some original online booking or checkout features from our prior Wix platform may not process payments or reservations automatically. We will confirm any booking, deposit, or appointment directly with you using the contact details you provide.
Deposits, refunds, and cancellations (as published in our service terms)
Detailed deposit and refund rules for doula and related services appear in our service terms pages (including our Doula Terms & Conditions). Without inventing new rules, the following points are reflected in those materials as published on this site:
- A deposit (described in service materials as a percentage of the service cost, including references to a 50% non-refundable deposit in certain doula contexts) may be required to reserve availability.
- Service materials state that no refunds are available after 3 days from the date of purchase for certain services, and that deposits used to hold availability may remain non-refundable even if services are not rendered when the reasons are attributable to the client, subject to the specific agreement.
- Clients are asked to give at least 24 hours’ notice before canceling or rescheduling appointments where possible.
Always review the specific package description and any contract we send you before paying. If there is a conflict between a signed client contract and this website summary, the signed contract controls.
Intellectual property
Text, images, logos, and other materials on this site are owned by Austin Womb Service or used with permission. You may not copy, republish, or commercially exploit site content without our prior written consent, except for personal, non-commercial viewing.
User conduct
You agree not to attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it aggressively in a way that harms availability, upload malicious code, or use the site for unlawful purposes.
Disclaimer of warranties
The website is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by Texas law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Austin Womb Service and its owners and practitioners will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the website or reliance on general information published here. Our total liability for claims relating solely to website use shall not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100) or the amount you paid us (if any) for website-related services in the three months before the claim, whichever is greater. This limitation does not limit liability that cannot be limited under Texas law, and it does not replace duties that may arise under a separate professional care agreement.
Third-party links and tools
The site may link to third-party websites or load third-party scripts. We are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or availability.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree that state or federal courts located in Texas are an appropriate venue for disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the website, except where a separate arbitration agreement in a client contract applies.
Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
